    @fat controller , it's to hot for me and i'm not a scot i'm a souther
    at the mow the temp gauge says 37c but that's with the sun on it

        Doors and windows now closed, air conditioner running......

        I had taken today off with the intention of working in the garden, but it is simply too much for me to bear out there. I have brought a flat pack planter indoors though, and I build that up.

          30c and the windscreen wipers are sticking to the windscreen so lifted them off

              Hot hot hot! 29.5 in the car....I'm melting :phew:, not moaning though it's a beautiful day :hapfeet:.

              I gave my hens some extra water with ice in it & tempted them with melon out of the fridge, they weren't interested I think they are too hot :sad:, 2 of them are broody, they spent most of yesterday in the coop!....nutters :nonofinger:

                34.3C was the max on the north facing wall.

                I'm wondering if i need some shading on the greenhouse on the allotment:scratch:
                It reached 52C, but there are only desert cacti left in there at the moment.:biggrin:

                  37ºc maximum here - by 1700hrs that went down to 34º - I have just watered stuff for the third time today; reckon I have lost a few tomato plants that are still in fairly small pots, as well as a few other plants that have just been cooked in the greenhouse.

                  I've just re-routed the exhaust for the air-con which will hopefully help it cool this room a bit more.

                          Too hot even to go to the beach....saying something for a Cornishman :wow: .no wind or even a breeze. Looks like another couple of days of this heat; it's what summer is all about though :rasp:
