WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2017

Morning all, nice morning. Didn't get any thunderstorms yesterday.
Because I'm up early,can tell the days are getting shorter.

 

Mist didn't last very long this morning, now sunny

I have just had to empty my water butt! The tap broke, so I was madly dashing between filling watering cans and distributing the water to avoid loosing too much
Better get that fixed/buy a new one before the heavens open....whenever that may be!
I was going to go up to Wimbledon today but decided it was going to be too hot and my garden needs a bit of TLC...water! So I will sit and watch it from the comfort of my sofa in my lovely cool living room. Better get on with my chores Have a good day.

 

Woke up this morning to seeing that late last night villagers were out in their gardens filming lightning in the clouds that hung over the village but we missed it

Evidently there was no thunder just the lightning and from what I can gather it is called Heat Lightning (I Assume that folks Googled it) where you get flashes of sheet lightning up in the black storm looking clouds but there is no thunder or rain to accompany it.Would like to have seen that as we have never experienced that type of event before

Anyway,this is our temperature at this moment in time,well a couple of minutes ago actually

Have had to move the two little Orchids off of the windowsill as they were getting cooked in the heat

Touching 30C yet again today.
The forecast is for it to come down to more "normal" temps next week, so getting my thermals out.
I really have got used to this and I woke up bloody cold this morning at 17C brrr.
