    Here in West Cheshire we had 6mm of rain yesterday, while today we've had 10.2mm of rain. The plants in my sandy soil were beginning to need it and I've had to come to the rescue of one Hydrangea under the Lilac in particular as it's leaves were starting to droop. Right now the temperature is 58f and the maximum temperature was 62f for just a brief period, and it's still raining lightly now. The Met Office has predicted a dryer, warmer day for tomorrow and Thursday:dunno::snorky:

            We finally got the rain! Heavy downpour mid afternoon and occasional light showers through to late afternoon. That's the first real rain for ages. Not sure whether to put the sprinkler back in the shed :scratch: Sun forecast for today - from 10 a.m. I'll time it. :th scifD36:

              A fair bit of rain overnight and have woken to a bright but cloudy and cool morning. The garden has gone a bit droopy with all of the rain but the grass is happy! :spinning:

                Rain arrived late evening, continued throughout the night and is forecast to end sometime in the next hour or so. The smell in the garden is wonderful! :heart:

                  28mm of rain overnight.
                  the cloud took till 2.30pm to clear, so its been mostly dreary and overcast.
                  Oh, and cold, until the sun came out.
