    Half an hour ago the skies were clearing nicely so I stepped outside and powered up the Observatory ready for some observing and.......you've guessed it!, there is now rolling in from the West a weather front, the winds have picked up and there's a great bank of grey/black clouds rolling in.:dunno::wallbanging: Otherwise, it's not been a bad day with some sunshine and some cloud and a maximum temperature of 68f. The pressure has dropped to 989hpa and the temperature now is 60f.:coffee::snorky:

                Been blowing a gale here all day, rain since mid afternoon and so cool it feels like Autumn, 17c!

                  Started out clear blue, then clouded over around midday, since around 2pm its been wall to wall sunshine with a bit of a breeze.
                  23.9C according to the digital.

                  Think we might have the rain to come.

                    It has not stopped all day long here in the Midlands it's pouring and pouring down.
                    I've just bought my 3 chickens into the kitchen and gave them a very light going over with a hairdryer before lights out. They love to scratch the earth in the rain the daft chooks!
                    A couple of courgettes look like they've grown an inch over the course of the day. I'm not sure another day or two of this will have the same effect though

                      Cloud covered skies, no Sun, a breeze that got stronger throughout the day and a top temperature of 66f. It did start to rain around 4pm and has kept raining steadily but not heavily. The temperature at the moment is 58f and the pressure reading is 985hpa.:coffee::snorky:

                                Cloudy with frequent showers although the wind has died down but cool only reaching 17c again.

                                Will we need winter clothing when we go 'up North' to York on Monday?:heehee:
