      The long dry spell here has almost disappeared but still no proper rain, a few drizzly showers over the last few days and damp and misty today. 11C/52F

        Wall to wall suhshine, a top temperature of 82f , with no breeze. Right now the temperature is 54f and the pressure reading is 994hpa.

            Yesterday reached 87F in the main garden (too hot for me!) but it didn't feel that hot when sitting in deep shade where a nice breeze was blowing across the field and through the trees.

            This morning was a steady 48.2F from 4 a.m. until 6.30 but the sun is now burning off the thick mist and is 50.8F (6.55).

              It's loads cooler this morning and we have thick cloud. Rain is forecast for this afternoon. It's nice to have a break from the heat! It's 10C.

                        I didn't post yesterdays temp as I thought there was a problem with the sensor, it said 29.7C.

                        Just had a look for today and it said max of 29.4C
                        Seems slightly high to me, but I've not moved it so can only think it has peaked at those temps, not sure for how long, probably an hour or so mid afternoon.
