    Lots cooler through the day, humidity rising in the evening.
    It's been nicely cooler here but afternoon temps are still 22 ish
    Nights are 'sticky ' :rolleyespink: '

            24/75 today with a breeze. It's been the nicest day for ages :)

              We had 4 droplets of rain yesterday instead of the 4 hours of rainfall forecast. No more rain forecast for the next 6 days. The thunderstorms forecast for next week have all been cancelled.

                      We live in the driest part of the country.

                      Last Spring we went 12 weeks without rain - but then got quite a bit.

                      2012 - following an extremely dry spell over the previous two years we had a hosepipe ban because of no rain.

                      1990 - no rain for nine weeks in the summer - major drought in this area

                      1976 - the hottest and driest summer and the benchmark that everyone seems to use for heat and drought. We were trying hard to build our garden in those days!

                      I also seem to remember we had drought in the 1950's (followed by floods) and in the early 40's.

                      Today is heading for being a hot, and dry, one. Did my gardening from 5 a.m. to 6.30 a.m. :blue thumb:
