Yes thanks and I've got the oven on cooking the caserole for this afternoon. Thought I'd do it early.

I don't blame you doing your casserole early because the hotter it gets in the day...the heat in your home would get extreme...we've been living on light stuff here :)

Thanks for asking mate but since coming in from outside lungs have gone tight and i'm trembling....got my nebulizer going and drinking water...if my lungs don't ease up i'm swallowing some Vic chest rub and the doctors can go to hell

30.5 Deg C when I headed off to my plot with a car load of filled water containers, 31 when I got there and 32 after I tipped them into barrels and watered the polytunnels.

Stopping for a rest and some ice cold drinks before doing another couple of water runs.

@Scrungee - is there no water supply to your plot? Is it an allotment, council run? I thought that it was a basic requisite for such sites to provide a water supply.

We still like to have our cooked dinners, just let it cool down for a while.

Gail you be careful, you don't want to wind up in hospital.

Now up to 32.5 deg C

3 Sites in village, Church, Parish Council and Lord of Manor, none had water until 15 years ago when the PC installed water on theirs.

Lost count of the people I warned they'd need to bring water and responded thay they wouldn't need to because they were putting up a (4 × 6 foot) shed and collecting all the rainwater they'd need for watering. They'd empty what had been gathered over winter in one day of hot weather and then their plants would die and they'd give up because carrying water was too difficult for them, just like weeding and digging were also too difficult for them.

So your plot must be either Lord of the manor, or church then - the two sections of the community with a bit more dosh! ...typical!

Think we are more pleasant here ... slight breeze from NW ... have a/c on for a while watching to Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet singing It's Five O'clock Somewhere on the Country Music TV channel .... but it's only 3.40pm here. Friends came for lunch and brought KFC and we ate in the outdoor living room. Spraying the orange groves now so time to come in.
