21E2DC19-B6E0-46B0-B4E0-04D317924ADD.jpeg The temperature here has now started going down and we actually have thunder and rain is falling as I type this:hapfeet:

Usually though with rain the air smells and feels fresher but it doesn’t smell that brilliant so I think it smells more like musty dust if there is such a thing especially as thefarmers are busy harvesting the crops and there is dust fluid everywhere. At least the rain will give the cars a good wash:snorky:

I have already got my camera battery charged and the card is fresh ready for the red moon this evening but now we have cloud here I don’t think we shall see much:sad:

Had some rain at about 5am this morning, went outside to feed the birds and i thought we'd get the lovely smell of sweet rain, but no, we got an burnt oily smell  well may be the rain got burnt when it hit the hot soil :th scifD36: but i think it's more likely to be the low pressure forcing down the pollution

Much cooler in Hereford today, just 15c at the moment, and the forecast says rain is due within the hour.
Cooler in Belgium too, just 20c at the moment, and there have been a couple of thunderstorms in the evenings this week. No good for the garden, but at least the rain has put some water in the rainwater tank. No rain forecast for the next week....☹️ Poor hubby - watering all the plants for me!

Well I've woken to a proper heavy windy day...ground wet and the decking is wet through so we must have had a good down pour and it's starting to rain again....about time [IMG]

Temp at the moment 55F tops 65F and probability of rain 55% and :bolt:
