It's been very Spring-like today with the sky clear and sunny, no wind and the birds singing. I even managed an hour or so in the garden. 8C/46F that has dropped rapidly since late afternoon and is currently reading 0C/32F. I think it's going to be a cold one tonight.

Daylight hours are picking up well now, opening up two minutes every day and three minutes every third day.

 

Hope your CH is in and working @Sheal likewise you've got your oil as it's meant to be really cold this coming week. As you said it was truly gorgeous today and quite warm in the sun. Snap got about 4 hours work done in the garden but you couldn't really see where I'd been. An awful lot of work still to do in time for everything bursting into life again.

 

Thanks Silu, the central heating is working fine. The only problem we have is working out the remote control to set up the timer, it's so complicated. The instructions are very good but still don't make sense to us oldies. We'll have to call the firm tomorrow to come and talk us through it. Our oil was topped up last week. Talking of which - we are going to join the oil club you suggested as there is one in our area. Thanks again.

Bright blue skies and not even the slightest breath of wind here. The only drawback is that it is -12C...

 

Woke up to still gently falling. now, all that remains to be seen is IF and when's it gonna stop.
