Very mild/ warm today, highs of 21 :rolleyespink: It hasn't been higher than 16 for a fortnight.
The wind has been quite strong at times ( the kind of wind where kids open up their coats and pretend they're kites :dancy: , I felt like doing it too!
Tomorrow we have a yellow warning for wind, 50 to 60 mph gusts. I suppose I'd better shuffle my pots about so they don't end up in the neighbours garden :heehee:

Bit scarey atm. With our huge trees still in leaf the gales are having quite an impact. Leaves and small branches flying about. :fingers crossed: for my greenhouse which I can't see from the house and ain't going out to check it as would get blown over. Closed all the vents yesterday and locked down the roof openers so not much else I can do other than prey! Certainly if we hadn't picked the majority of the apples yesterday the lot would be down. As it is the trees themselves will be doing well to keep upright:yikes:.

102.02 mph recorded at The Tay Bridge which is only about 30 mins from here. Main road from our single track is blocked with a huge fallen tree:sad: and alternative route dodgy as massive branch hanging off another tree close to that road. Ours ok atm but whole garden littered with branches and leaves. It is meant to ease in a couple of hours so will go out then and view the damage:frown:. This has been 1 of the worst storms we have had since moving here 17 years ago.
