The sun was shining while it was snowing this afternoon, with the temperature at 6C/43F. Crazy weather!

-5°c last night , that is about as cold as it gets around here . Sun just coming onto the garden now. I'll let it warm up a bit before I finish working on the shed.

It was -3C/27F after midnight last night, I expected to see a heavy frost this morning but the garden was clear. 2C/36F today with sunny spells and occasional snow flurries.

Yet another cold day, and I'm getting a bit fed up with them as we've now finished our first 10 Kg bag of stove nuts this winter costing £3.44 All our other heating (apart from bathroom) has been from free wood and reduced firelighters @ 10p for pack of 20, so about a further £1.50
