WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2018

Very wet and windy during the night. Icy and sunny this morning.

 

A day of snow, sleet, hail, and rain showers, some one after the other and sometimes all together!! The temperature has stayed in the middle 30f's all day and is at the moment 35f with a gusty breeze and a pressure reading of 988hpa.

 

The temperature has dropped to 33f and there's a light covering of snow on the ground and the pressure reading has dropped down to 992hpa. There's supposed to be, according to the Met Office, more snow and icy weather due for the coming few days!!

 

Yesterday was a cold and sunny day until mid-afternoon. Then we had a fantastic hailstorm which stopped the cars on the road. The ground was completely covered within ten minutes and five minutes later the sun came back out!

This morning it's 27F and the patio looks as though there are rain puddles on it but it's actually solid ice. The sun is now up so the ice will soon be water.

 

A top temperature of 41f, for a brief while, but it has now dropped to 35f with clear skies after a day of sunshine and cloud. There's still light snow staying on the grass from yesterday and there's a promise of more tomorrow. No Star imaging tonight, but I will be in the Observatory doing some fine tuning to the tracking accuracy on the Telescope mount.
