Good Morning from me as well @wiseowl

Blimey that is colder than we have it here @wiseowl but looking at your garden photos it looks like your part of the world got it first and we got the dregs:biggrin:

As an aside I have just opened our lounge curtains and we had eight male Blackbirds all chasing each other trying to find the seed from yesterday than is now under the snow:biggrin:

0 to -5 today. On the news this morning it said that some parts of Hampshire hit -11 last night. Not surprised as even indoors the temp dipped significantly just before we went to bed. Brrrrrrr!!!

It was -7 at 5.30 this morning when I was "digging" my wife's car out. Thankfully it was the right kind of snow. It was dry and powdery and brushed aside easily. It's been snowing steadily ever since.

I had an e-mail at 7.45 a.m. to tell me that after a course inspection (probably a look out the greenkeeper's office window), today's competition was cancelled.

I read it "first thing" around 9.45 a.m. There's been a bit more snow but still less on the ground than after the first fall on Tuesday.

We'vw had about 18 flakes of snow that melted as soon as it hit the ground. Hit -3 overnight now 0 deg. We were supposed to have had it bad tomorrow but the forecasts been altered now ( for the better :) ).
