Dry--ish and very very windy
@Jiffy It's terrible weather..plus the flooding it's doing already to area's
Just watching the sliver birchies leaning at 45 dergee's in the wind, wet ground, i see fire wood later
@Jiffy Don't blame you...we had one and with the wind it used to blow in the direction of the roof, it was soon cut down and the neighbours, they looked to dangerous
@Jiffy We heard they was protected but apparently not..if cut back correctly Just axe it back mate
Just going for a walk i may be a long time or not get back at all, you may see a low flying Jiffy I don't touch our tree's unless they are dangerous
@Jiffy Well enjoy your walk and I hope you don't fly with the wind
Good afternoon @Gail_68 It's very windy here and drizzling.
Wind has picked up to gale force yet again but it is dry and a partly sunny 10c.
@Logan Tell me about it, I can't seem to get warm even though we've got the rads on constant...have a nice evening
Fog again this morning followed by a dark grey sky. Just to add to the misery rain set in from mid afternoon and the only consolation being the lack of wind. 2C/36F.
We've had one or two light, short, showers giving only 2.1 mm of rain during the day and the temperature at around 44/45f. The skies have had some patches of blue in them in the morning, but later in the afternoon the cloud from the West moved, while the wind has averaged around 14mph with gusts up to 21mph. Right now the temperature is 39f and the pressure reading is 974hpa and the wind has dropped to nothing.
Morning all. Frosty start. Temp. 0-5c Sunrise 8.15 Sunset 16.17
Not quite so cold down here as it's frosty but only down to 30F at the moment. My thoughts are with our friends and relations in the U.S. where they're expecting a record low of -40C That's a significant figure as it also equates to -40F.
Lovely frosty morning
