I think you're probably in the same boat as us @ARMANDII .

We started today on -4 got up to -2 around 4ish now it's hovering around that. Set to rise during the night to 0 and then up to +3 tomorrow and no more below zero's on the forecast for at least another week ( that's how long the forecasts go for on the site I use ).

We did have a little snow this afternoon but it should be gone by tomorrow .

I feel sorry for everyone who is suffering this weather but I really am fed up with it being portrayed in the media as " nationwide " and that the country's " being gripped in chaos ".
Hasn't this period really just been about the temperatures for perhaps 50% of the country. Surely a lot of us had more snow during that really bad spell before Christmas?

Keeping the birds topped up and defrosting the bird bath are the priorties. They are actually watching and waiting, thanks to me being skint, my bird bath is cheap! Hence we can turn it upside down, pour hot water, release the ice. That fresh water and a bowl of assorted feed has seen many birds visit our garden

The temperature is acting like a Yo Yo, 30f an hour ago, then dropped to 22f, and was around 26f 5 minutes ago, and is now jumping between 22f and 30f..........a crazy night, and still no snow.:dunno::doh:

You are right it's not nationwide @KFF! I live further north than many and there's no snow here although it's been bitterly cold. At 1am it was -8C/17F.

Today started off with sunshine but clouds drifted in early afternoon, although it stayed reasonably bright. -3C/27F

No fresh snow here since yesterday lunchtime. The wind is strong. The sun is trying to burn through the grey skies. Fingers crossed for the rest of the day.

Just above freezing here, blowing strongly but the snow is going quite rapidly as it turns to rain.

Morning all. Gusty winds and heavy snow showers for the next hour.
Temperature. Minus 3 not much change during the day.
This is a brook close by where i walk the boys. Never been frozen before.
