Dry here too at the moment but heavy rain is forecast, we have a weather warning for today. I think in general we're in for a damp week.

If I've got to graft seven days a week then Blackie too can graft; why should he have a day off not soaking me?



3 supermarkets and back home by 8:15 this morning; I'm just having a mug of tea before heading into the garden to do more shredding and to receive yet another soaking; I think my clothes will have dried out after the soaking I received from Blackie at 6:30 last night? Go away Blackie and pester someone else.

Thanks Upsy. Our forecast was for light rain yesterday too but Blackie doesn't do light rain. I've just been working flat out at the top of the mountain and finished the shredding lower down; a mug of tea then I'm heading to the tip once again with a full load of garden debris; I really did enjoy finishing the shredding off with everything soaking wet as usual.

Blackie's hovering and it's getting darker.

I don't know why we need weather forecasters because it seldom changes;

It is set to rain in Huddersfield for the next 70 hours (Make it years and stop messing about).

It's raining heavily now, good thing that we walked the boys before hand.

 

Here despite forecast of rain. Some local areas got soaked some stayed dry.

 

Heavy showers all day, cool gray and occasional thunder and lightening to brighten things up.

 

No rain till midday and then light rain ever since.

 

This is very selfish of me but I'm glad someone else is getting the rain this week. The best part of the last three weeks have been wet and we're on partial relief from it for a few days. Having said that this it what we had yesterday for a while....stair rods!





Today has been dry with heavy cloud, but with the garden so damp, no mowing, no strimming was possible. 15C/59F.
