The rain was very welcomed @Sheal ...no need to hide behind the sofa!!!

After another soaking yesterday we are in for a dry day today and the rest of the week isn't that bad after all......at the moment!

 

Overnight rain but already brightening up Not cold but feeling cooler in a brisk wind.

It's still raining here and it was cold last night, the heating came on this morning.

 

Absolutely persisting it down in my part of Shropshire, (Boningale). And, I've had to relent and put the heating on this morning... When I think back to this time last year.... *sigh*

I'm thinking of doing boat trips around the garden.

Here comes the rain AGAIN. The area we live in is beautiful but flawed because of our local schools; it's an absolute nightmare driving up or down our local lane during the school run; once again a very near miss this morning at 8:50, wonderful driving on the part of the car driver in front of us; pulled in to let child out; no indicator then indicate and pull straight out into oncoming traffic without a care in the world; good job the other car driver was awake?

You're welcome to it @Upsydaisy and I've got more if you'd like it! Two forecasts and a Jet Stream map said it would be dry today. 15 minutes into (electric) strimming and down it came, grrrr! 14C/57F

I'm on a tight schedule to get everything shipshape before guests arrive early next week, so that I can forget gardening and housework whilst they're here and get out and about with them. Right now it's not happening.

 

Well we missed the total downpour that occurred over parts of north Kent last night.
But I still got a 24hr total of 25mm, most we have seen in one day for a long time.

Today started bright then it clouded over for most of the morning, but followed by a really nice sunny afternoon.
20c or thereabouts.

 

It's still raining....

This means I might actually have to do some housework tomorrow.

 

We weren't suppose to have rain today and guess what....it poured down late afternoon.

I had to do exactly the same as you yesterday @Joolz .
