There's been a bit of flooding by us, around the small wood. There's a stream and it's flooded the path that leads to the Beoly village not far away, no one can get to the village inn that way.

 

Hi,

I've just come indoors from up the mountain where I've been pulling up the wallflowers. Another small job completed in spite of Blackie trying to give me another good soaking.

We've got lots of big foxgloves and these will be next to go; the poppies are heading to bloom shortly in the meadow area which I'm looking forward to seeing.

As a child I hated wearing wellies because they gave me sore legs. I had a pair for years which I used whilst snow clearing but a few years ago I decided to modify the wellies popping them through the bandsaw; I now wear them a lot due to Blackie but no more sore legs. Here's to Blackie; :rasp::rasp::rasp:

It continues to rain, although not as heavy.

Grey and very windy....not suppose to be in for any rain today.....so they say , but I'm not fully convinced! Especially as I gardening over at my Dad's today, it's bound to pour at some stage!

Pity I don't just have a repeat button on my keypad because it seldom lets up with rain here; it does sleet; snow and hail though to give a bit of interest; did I mention it's pouring down?

I was rudely awakened on Wednesday night at 5 o'clock when someone started a loud engine; I was mistaken though it was my personal big black cloud Blackie power washing our bungalow roof.

I expect a pleasant day every day Verdun.

It's stopped raining until later and tomorrow will the same.

 

Right now it is 50f and we're expecting a high of 65f. Not near the seasonal warm weather we usually get by now.

A dry day here, it was dry yesterday also, its sunny now but for the most part it's been sunny spells with a fair amount of cloud and windy.
A bit warmer, but not really what you would call summer.

I notice the forecasters are back sliding, they were saying things were going to be better next week, now they appear to be saying more of the same.
