WHATS YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2019

Still waiting for the 'main event ' here. Did have a few spits and spots while I was out and about this morning but it didn't amount to much
Busy trying to shred all the hedge cuttings before the rain arrives.

 

Very warm and humid in these parts but Ifffff the weather guessers are right we're going to be in for it pretty soon..

Good luck in your race against Blackie Upsy; amazingly I managed to remove the second half of an hedge this morning; I had to break off yesterday because Blackie was rather too keen to keep the dust down; not only did I remove the hedge I've saved the thicker trunk sections which are to be collected tomorrow afternoon by a wood burning neighbour and I've had a big session shredding; by 1 o'clock I'd worked myself to a standstill but job done apart from digging up the stumps; the stumps of our hedges are like tree stumps;


This hedge is well over 30 years old with trunks like trees.


I removed half yesterday before Blackie gave me another soaking.



In order to beat Blackie this morning I was out early but this time fired up my petrol chainsaw; I'm just having a mug of tea then I'll start on the roots; I still wonder what retirement is; I've been retired for 19 years but still can't find the time to play with my toys in the workshop.

 

It's been lovely and dry with the occasional glow of sun. I'm more than ready for sunny days now.

Thunder and lightening is forcast to arrive at midnight and carry on until 6am.tomorrow,

Well they said hell and high water, and nothing has happened.
They said it would be humid, still waiting for that to happen as well, plus we get the usual warnings of it being difficult for sleeping on the forecast.

Where are these people, they certainly aint anywhere near me.
It touched 23c briefly, it is supposed to be summer after all.
19C now and cant say as I'm finding it particully sweaty.

We didn't get any thunderstorms but i knew that we wouldn't, we're just on the edge. We did get rain though, always appreciate it in the summer.
