I’d be most grateful if anyone could send me some sun Verdun. We’ve just moved house and the garden needs SO much work. I was hoping not to be working in the garden in wellies and my winter jumpers in July

Good afternoon all it's 24c at the moment.
Also I've got the oven on cooking chips

 

Lovely mackerel skies this morning. A cooler afternoon as the clouds have returned. No wind at all.

 

Lovely day out with weather to match ,although it was a tad cloudier it was still very warm.

 

Well you learn something new everyday!! We were in West Sussex today and I mentioned the skies.....never knew that was what they are called.

 

My old Gran had a saying, "mackerel sky, not much wet, not much dry"
Never understood it, but that's what people were like in those days.

Touched 32 C today, yes clouded over around 4 pm, but still 25C at this moment.

 

We just had a downpour which lowered the temperature to 81f. Expecting thunderstorms in about an hour.

Lovely free water!!
