When we were in Sussex on Friday and I was admiring the mackerel clouds ( thanks @Jenny namaste ) we were suddenly given a fly past by the Red Arrows!! Sadly I was caught off guard but didn't want to miss them by hunting for my camera.

Back on topic quickly....cloudy and a tad cooler and to be honest it's more manageable for me to get things done in the garden. Wouldn't say no to a bit of your drizzle though @wiseowl ! Fingers crossed it's moving westwards!!

The red arrows flew over here last weekend.
Bit grey this morning and the slightest bit of dampness on the ground .
They say it will brighten up but cooler than yesterday.

 

Bright, very warm but a little cloudy so far

 

ten tenths cloud cover and "mizzleing" with a slight breeze.Says staying like this until 5pm when the sun should break through. Hope to go PYO blackcurrant picking for jam later so the o'night rain will have ensured they got a good wash...

Sun eventually appeared at 5pm and this evening feels very cool by contrast to the last week. I feel the Summer spell has gone on the back burner for a while...

 

Down to 70F here, overcast. Had some rain during the night. Then around 17.15 the flat started once again to become like an oven
