    Skies full of cloud from light grey to mid grey and it's raining lightly. There's no breeze and the temperature is a cool 62f and that feels, even though I love a heatwave, a welcome relief. The forecast fo West Cheshire is more rain today and more tomorrow, with temperatures staying in the low 60f's.

      Amazing isn't it?
      You sweat you bits off all week at work and soon as the weekend comes its back to reality.
      Yes it was a bit too hot to do much, but you still had to, but this is the opposite in extreme.

                How strange; I never noticed the weather when I wandered into the workshop at 8:30 this morning; possibly because it's returned to the usual black hole I'm so used to living in.

                  The rain gauge on my garden weather station stopped workiing this morning despite it constantly raining:gaah:

                  That meant I had to go out into the rain to pour a large jug of water into the rain gauge in order to flush out any dirt or debris that might have been blocking it.!! I shan't say what I was thinking while doing it.

                            With the rain coming down I decided to quit moaning and get off my backside and do something useful;

                            Free timber.

                            Today turned out nice after all and I enjoyed playing with my toys in the workshop. :awesome:

                              Steady light rain until noon. This afternoon was grey, misty, humid and windless, and the sun put in an appearance early evening for an hour. A much more comfortable 20C/68F. A decent nights sleep tonight. :yes:

                                Most of the day had heavy drizzle showers, but now clear.
                                Glad that it's cooled down and don't have to water the polyanthus and blueberries.

                                The weather is so extreme due to the jet stream, hubby said that it never used to be like this. I think that the jet stream is more erratic.
