      Hi,

      Whilst I've just been in the bath I could hear Blackie trying to wash our bungalow off the valley side; Bron and I have lived here 32 years and whilst I lay in the bath listening to the deluge a thought occurred to me. Scientists are banging on about a hole in the ozone layer; well I know where the hole is; it's directly above our bungalow and Blackie uses it as a urinal. Get lost Blackie I'm sick of you go and pester someone who would be glad of your company.

                Started to Thunder and Lightning with heavy rain within seconds of me liquid feeding all the large pots:dunno::wallbanging::gaah::heehee: Jenny the cat:cat-kittyandsmiley:is sitting on the door mat of the open Kitchen door watching the Lightning and heavy rain with, what seems , resigned interest.......neither the Thunder or Lightning seems to worry her.
                The temperature is 65f, no breeze, it's raining heavily, and the pressure reading is 997hpa and there's more Lightning and Thunder rattling around the now black skies:) skies.:coffee:

                      I agree @ARMANDII air pressure does differ at different heights and conditions. That's why barometers have to be set up for the area we live in.

                      I haven't got a barometer where I am now @pete, but if I did, setting it at sea level would be pointless 300/500 ft above sea level. Perhaps an altimeter is a better idea. :heehee:

                          Yesterday was hot!!! :rolleyespink: It reached 86F (30C) in the main garden and a few degrees cooler elsewhere. No rain for ages so our sprinkler is working overtime - as are the sprinklers in the fields around us.

                          Today is set to be sunny and hot and a possibility (25%) of rain on Monday.

                                The skies are changing from cloudy to partly cloudy back to cloudy all the time and there's a gentle breeze of around2 to 3mph. We had no storms or rain during the night but there is some forecast for today and part of the week so we'll see. The temperature is 69f, the breeze is coming from the SouthEast again, and the pressure reading is 994hpa.:coffee::)
