                There's something amiss here because the sun is shining and no rain or wind.

                12C when I set off to the supermarkets at 7:15 feeling chilly.

                The metal Store has just phoned to say my order is ready for collection; what a good start to the week. :awesome:

                      As the wind had dropped completely, and the farmer has harvested and taken all the bales away, I decided to light one of the bonfires. I dragged the hose to the end of the garden where the bonfire is, spent time rattling and probing the heap for hedgehogs, started putting the paper in strategic places - and the heavens opened! :doh:

                      I'll have some lunch and then see what the weather has in store for me. I don't think it will last long and then I'll get on with the bonfire. :blue thumb:

                            Boy did It rain this morning in town!!
                            We were in IKEA having cake and coffee watching the approaching black clouds heading over the Solent with all the cruise liners in dock and then...... a torrential downpour emptied itself over the city!! So hard was the force of it that it began pouring in at the base of the huge window next to us in the restaurant!! Maintenance were called and apparently another leak had been reported too. The rain made a thunderous noise on the roof.
                            Just got back home and I don't think we've rain here, about 5pm we could expect some....but at the moment it's sunny and warm.:)

                                Cooler today with a temperature of 66f with a breeze from the South. It's also stayed dry giving me the chance to mow the front lawn, the garden lawn will be done tomorrow as it should still be dry if the forecast is right. Speaking of Forecast I see that BBC is forcasting rain and winds for Wednesday and then from Friday and the weekend a repeat of last weekend's weather of stormy, wet and windy weather:wallbanging:. To be honest, the storm over the weekend had very little effect here in my area of West Cheshire ss the winds were no more than a stiff breeze with only a gentle shower or two. So right now, the temperature has dropped by one degree to 65f, the Southerly breeze ahs dropped away,the pressure reading is 995hpa............and I'm off for a Mug of Tea and a sit on the patio with my Cat, Jenny:coffee::cat-kittyandsmiley::cat-kittyandsmiley:
