Sunny until early afternoon with a stiff breeze but stayed dry, 20c.

 

Another grey day with a couple of light showers and a strong wind blowing. Feeling very much like Autumn now even though we're still in August - just. It was 8C/46F at midnight last night and 15C/59F today. Our heating is on this evening.

Not so sunny this morning. We're in for sunny intervals with a high of 21C . Still no rain here and our clay soil has deep cracks running along it. All 7 water butts are bone
dry ,having to use tap water now which I feel isn't natural or ideal for garden plants, but needs must.

 

Fresher, more cloud but pleasant enough and still warm

 

A bit cooler here today. 29 degrees and the occasional cloud

 

It's warm with a gentle breeze and sunny intervals, just right. This year haven't had to use tap water for the blueberries.

 

Bright and breezy on the seafront this afternoon. Now all blue sky and the wind has gone.

The strong wind of the last couple of days continued bordering gale force but suddenly dropped away completely mid afternoon. Very cloudy again with just one shower of rain. 19C/66F
