Hi,

Blackie was putting a splash of rain down and it's so dark and miserable Bron and I set off to M&S in Pudsey about an hour and an half ago only to turn around half way there due to weather conditions; streams running down the road with lots of flooding making driving dangerous; all in all a wash out of a day; yesterday I was wet with sweat in the garden working in lovely warm sunshine; it's never boring.

Wellingborough's famous again (on the BBC, anyway) for all the wrong reasons The council built a commercial centre on a huge concrete raft in a flood zone near the river. Guess what?

 

Been dismal and it grizzled most of the day. Almost dark / twilight now. 7. 15pm and i'ts all down hill from now on.

Rain and strong winds this morning but not gales as forecast, sunny afternoon which wasn't forecast, warm out of the wind, 19c.

 

Southampton had some flooding problems today, we haven't been out but I expect we have flooding down the lane too.
Still at least we have a very happy garden!

 

Been raining all day and very heavy at times. Got wet twice walking the boys. It stopped for a few hours this afternoon but now it's raining again.

 

And I've put the mock electric fire on to cheer me up,

Same here Upsy; dark and miserable but not raining at the moment although everything outside is still soaking wet from a full day of rain yesterday.

I've started the day with a bit more grafting carrying laurel stumps down to the driveway; I'll have a trip to the tip later today then at last I'm clear of the recent round of garden debris.

I'm still breathing so it's not all doom and gloom.

Odd shower!! It's now thundering down on the roof! ...so much for our predicted drizzle.

 

Very warm and damp this morning,dried up and then got even warmer by lunch time,now it's 'persistently' pouring and nippy enough to close door and windows..this weather is bonkers.

 

This morning had a bit of drizzle, the rest of the day has been dry, cloudy and mild.
