It's raining again here, getting fed up with it.

Yes you can have too much rain Logan; I'd be very happy to share ours around.

It quit raining so I've been pottering around; I cut four oak feet for a planter Bron wanted to lift clear of the patio then a small paint job on our porch then a bit of hard graft digging at the top of the mountain to tidy the edge of our new wild flower meadow. It's just starting to rain so Blackie is losing his touch; he's missed the chance of soaking me.

Digging is hard graft but standing upright on the steep slope makes it even harder. These wild flowers have been absolutely wonderful and I'm looking forward to seeing them again next year. A straight edge at last it being a job I've kept meaning to do.

Stay safe everyone south of the border, it looks like there's worse to come. At the moment it looks like the Highlands will miss it but temperatures are dropping and we're promised snow on high ground on Wednesday. Whether, or should I say weather I'll have any I'm not sure as I live slightly above the snow line.

Today was dry with grey clouds until around 7pm when there was a short, heavy shower. It's still windless but now turning cold. Top temperature was 11C/52F.

 

I think most of us gardeners have said we want some rain, fed up with using water cans or my water butts are empty.......but it don't know when to stop.

 

A brilliant sunny start to the day, can't believe it as we are suppose to be having thundery rain with moderate winds with 88% precipitation at this moment in time!!
