Cloudy here with the odd patch of blue sky.

 

Hi,

I've been tormenting Blackie because I've just washed and dried the car; Blackie's now overhead looking in a bad mood and it's dark; I'm having a mug of tea and small bar of dark chocolate then I'm tormenting Blackie more; I've hoed the front garden and will shortly tackle the rear garden; all this is sure to bring rain down in biblical amounts.

Wet.

 

0C/32F at 9am so a good frost overnight and ice on the bird bath this morning. A lovely, crisp, sunny day with hardly a cloud in the sky and no wind, perfect! Into single figures today 9C/48F.

 

Just think. Only a few weeks ago most of the British Isles were crying out for rain. I can't remember now the last dry day here. Thunder and lightening a short while ago.

 

Mike, we've had rain up here all year. To have a few frosty, sunny days is a real treat.

Hi,

It's because Blackie is blinkered Mike and concentrates all the rain on ME. I managed to wash and dry the car yesterday afternoon but as I put the bucket away the car was being spotted by Blackie then a short while later down came the rain again; everything's soaking wet again outside but not raining at the moment.

No problem at all shiney; you're most welcome; Blackie and I are inseparable. It started off soaking wet again this morning and has just been raining although a big bright ball has just appeared in the sky.

Suddenly gone dark and a squall beginning. Trees thrashing about and heavy rain. Colder and there are mini ponds at the base of some of the main garden trees. Ground absolutely saturated.

 

All afternoon it's been sunshine and heavy showers and still heavy showers.

 

Gales along the coast with heavy but fairly short showers and occasional sunny periods, 13c.
