Yesterday's wind developed to gale force overnight with the drizzle continuing. This morning it was cloudy and the wind light but it picked up again for a couple of hours around noon. This evening is calm and dry. 9C/48F

Wind's not fierce anymore but has a bite to it. BLUE sky with fluffy clouds skudding over from the west,

Today is going to be a balmy 21F and the nights are predicted to be below well below 10F for the next week.

We have been forecast more snow and I'm getting tired of having to shovel, walk with shovelfull a good 20 paces to find a spot to pile it. The snow right at the edges of the drive are already over shoulder height and can't be stacked any higher else the snow just tumbles right back down and onto the cement.

Happily, the guessers have said that the spring switch will be flipped around a week from today instead of the end of next week. We'll only have below freezing temperatures at night rather than 24/7 !
