          A top temperature of 50f , with some sunshine and cloud. There was a noticeable breeze today but it didn't make the day any colder. During the afternoon the skies got cloudier and I thought we might have some rain on the way, but within the hour the skies got clearer and no rain arrived. Right now the temperature is 39f and the pressure reading is 1004hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

            Yesterday was sunny all day and warm in the sun but 54F/12C in the shade. On my way home at 11.30 last night the car temp showed 4C but it felt colder.

            No frost this morning and very calm. The sun will be in the sky when it has woken up. :SUNsmile:

                  A heavier frost overnight with the temperature dropping to -6C/21F. Sunny today with clear skies until late afternoon when cloud moved in. A chilly 3C/37F.

                            Hi,

                            Frosty wasn't here this morning but Blackie is; the fine drizzle which really soaks and lots of it as I went shopping first thing. Compared to the last two frosty bitterly cold mornings it's a lot warmer at 8C; this is only 2C below our mid summer temperature three years ago when I built the first garden hut so I'm not complaining but I do wish Blackie would get lost and pester someone else. :sad:

                            It's not all doom and gloom because in my workshop it's always summer and I'm heading there shortly; thanks to Blackie I'm making good progress learning TIG welding aluminium; just because it's bad weather it doesn't mean I have to watch some overpaid guy kicking a ball around on TV; I can always find something interesting to do. :dbgrtmb::yahoo:

                            Poor picture taken in the usual Yorkshire black hole but I'm making positive progress with the TIG welder; when I strike the arc it sure brightens the workshop up.

                                Many thanks wiseowl; definitely a Blackie day today in fact if it becomes any darker I'll need your night vision to find my workshop. :heehee:

                                Every day I get out of bed is a bonus day because now at 72 I'm an official coffin dodger. :biggrin:
