My sister lives in Wem in Shropsire, Palustris, and I know it's only in the mind, so to speak, but when driving there to visit her I just get the impression that Shropshire's trees and shrubs foliage is darker than that in Cheshire:scratch::doh: I do like the countryside around there, and it's got good some good eating/drinking Pubs there. But there does seem to be a great difference in both counties weather. Shropshire Winters do seem to be colder and harsher with my sister reporting wet weather or snow when here in West Cheshire it's reasonable weather, which shows what a few miles make. My sister loves Wem and I can see why and, obviously, it's the place where Mr Eckford started commercially growing Sweetpeas.:love30:

Rain until midday but very heavy at times, we thought about cancelling our walk around Wareham Forest and and Morden Bog but decided to go anyway, the rain started the same time as the walk! amazingly 13 members turned up and at the end there were 15 very very wet 'idiots'

Battle bonfire night was awash out last Saturday and today, it's Rye bonfire night. Equally popular and they have a huge bonfire and burn an old relic of a fishing boat.
GUESS WHAT, it's been stair rodding since 4 pm and it's down on the salt flats. Another naff night tonight.
Still, looks dry with some sun for Remembrance Sunday tomorrow ,
            Stay safe,

I'm guessing it was down to about -5C/23F overnight as it was -3C/27F when I toddled off to bed. A heavy duty frost this morning which didn't entirely clear from the garden, even with all day sunshine again. 3C/37F

Yes, and it is coming out to play, right now, and starting to burn off the frost. With the light rain yesterday evening the ground is just right for digging weeds out. Anyone want to volunteer to do that? :heehee:

I was in and out of the garden all day yesterday trying to dodge the heavy downpours, but gave up in the end and just encased myself in waterproofs!
Today we are predicted sunny intervals and a light breeze....sounds good to me!!:dbgrtmb:
