In spite of Blackie I'm happy with my lot; I've been out early this morning gathering oak leaves and Bron and I have just returned from Wakefield with a full cylinder of argon gas so more happiness to follow as I resume TIG welding practice; bring it on Blackie I don't care. :rasp:

Good evening all, it's been heavy drizzle again this afternoon, but not cold.

 

Had a lovely day today, sunny, blue skies and quite mild. Spent the whole day outside, gardening and later enjoying a walk in the surrounding woods, which was very waterlogged in places.

Sunshine here today at last but still some heavy cloud around. The temperature is dropping as expected, down to 5C/41F. Minus temperatures are due overnight.

 

Well here we are again folks. Here in Eltham. Part of the 'Royal' borough of Greenwich. C'mon. Must be an opening for something, r......o....y....al?

Last few days it's been dark leaden skies and it's not stopped, peeing down with rain. I can just imagine those types at Thames Water. We have now experienced a week of no rain. Experts foresee a drought. So notices are in the process of being prepared. Gardeners sorry, but we are imposing a hosepipe ban.

Seriously. Stop and think about our human family in North Yorks.

Sun is already here, and today looks to be sunnier than yesterday too. Sun, at this time of year, comes with colder days and nights though but I much prefer that to the gloomy damp days that are milder. High of 8C with a low of 0C tonight.
