Afternoon it was sunny intervals and a moderate breeze temp 6c.
Tonight dry and broken cloud.

 

Strong winds (seem to be every day now!) and showers forecast so we had strong westerly winds but a beautiful sunny day, no rain, six mile walk (with our walking group) to Swanage in double quick time as we were almost blown there!

 

It is a balmy 34f which has melted the snow into a thick layer of slush. I hope it drains most places before it goes below freezing so people don't get hurt.

 

A light frost this morning but a calm cloudy day. 2C/36F

Hi,

Sleet forecast for last night; everything outside soaking wet as usual this morning; the other side of Huddersfield at the M62 motorway snow fell causing driving problems. Another wet miserable black hole but I'm pleased; I'll spend today in the workshop shutting out the world and all its problems.

Really heavy rain last night but now we have a beautiful start to the day, blue skies and sunshine .Rain is set to return later this morning.

 

Grey out there but 14c going to 18c with showers on and off through tomorrow.

Mainly sunny with a couple of very light showers but the strong winds made a 3 hour bird boat cruise around Poole Harbour a bit chilly at only 8c.

Here's my answer to our miserable weather;



TIG welding aluminium in pulse mode at 1hz 120A 3mm thick. Practicing on joints at the moment this is a corner joint and now I'm on lap joints. I can shut the world out from my workshop.
