Hi,

Blackie accompanied me to Morrison's at 7 o'clock this morning; he was on good form together with his sister Gale ensuring I didn't over heat as I left the car to be greeted with heavy rain and wind. The supermarket was very busy; it was another wet black hole outside and the supermarket car park lights weren't working. Just a normal day.

I enjoyed more TIG welding this morning then this afternoon we were invited round to our immediate neighbour for a natter so today well taken care of; Blackie & Gale looking after me this morning then being spoiled this afternoon; I really wanted to do more welding practice this afternoon but Christmas got in the way; it's nice to be wanted though so not complaining.

It's changed from a miserable wet day to a miserable wet night so it's no problem to close the curtains and ignore it.

I think we're all in for similar weather today, (just had a trip around the country via the BBC weather app ....felt like Santa flying around in his sleigh) Light rain and a gentle breeze, although local forecast says we could get stronger winds later....but all looks good so far!

A temporary change of location for me. Here on the Isle of Man it's mostly sunny with occasional light rain. 7C/45F

 

I'm still waiting for the heavy thunder showers and very squally winds forecast.
Just had a light shower, now clear blue again and not a bit of wind, burp.pardon.

Must be those Brussel sprouts, oh no, I think they are tomorrow.

 

Partly sunny morning here in Bristol but a rainy afternoon. Son and Daughter in law invited us to their new house for Christmas which means Mrs S won't be cooking a turkey for the first time in 25+ years. Tomorrow looks to be a decent day here.
