            Mostly cloudy with some sunshine breaks and no wind. A few spots of rain early evening which was absolutely useless - that won't water anything! 13C/55F

                      It is 42f right now and supposed to be going up to near 70f and sunny. Then back to the refrigerator.

                      Can anyone please offer advice about fleece? By Thursday it will be snowing again. This is not usual for us this late. Usually we're just being threatened with frost only so I am in a quandry. Are perennials safe from snow or should I cover them and cross my fingers that the little bit of protection will help them survive? I am talking about phlox, peony, hostas, rhubarb, lilies, daisies, and on and on. Or because they are perennials, are they safe?
