Warm (75f) and muggy. Being mid morning and cloudy it is rather pleasant. The guessers say we shall have thunderstorms a few times today. Free water would be appreciated!

 

Solid heavy vertical rain! Drumming on the roof.. With the accompaniment of the thirsty earth gulping greedily. Bliss! Listening, indoors of course. One time that gardening means letting nature take care of its own.

 

We are currently 29c, no breeze to speak of.

 

I've moved my sensor, it was recording 27C which was not right, I moved it to a net bag hung under a tree where it came up with 24C.
Just shows that where you put these things makes a lot of difference.

We had the gale, then we had the deluges and now all is spent and we have that deep nocturnal silence of a place far from traffic and business.

Beautiful morning here, high of 26C with a low of 13C.

 

We are already 27c went to 32c yesterday and quite breathless. Calm now but we are supposed to have the Sahara Dust Storm pass over us today. T'other Half is out watering and going to plant the two new Hibiscus. I think it is a day to stay indoors and read about plants.

 

Blessedly bright and breezy. Enjoying the blue sky, scudding clouds and warm sun on skin. Ah!

Lovely and "room temperature" which to me is 72 to 78f. Our high today is to be 74f Rain predicted this afternoon (90% pop) and free water always is welcome. Lucky me!!

Went to work today, first time in nearly 3 months, got one more day to do next tuesday after which I'm officially retired.
Sensor in new position registered 31.8C , still seems a bit high, but the car was registering 28 at 4.30pm on the way home, Max and Min mercury also says 31C so it must have been close.
Wall to wall sunshine all day and very little wind.
House has been closed up all day so struck very cool when I got home.
