WHATS YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2020

We were forecast sunny intervals and thunder too yesterday, but instead it was very hot with a cloudless blue sky which gave us wall to wall sunshine.

They were correct in predicting rain in the early hours though , we have a nice breeze blowing and I'm certain the garden is appreciating the moist ground.

It's dry at the moment but grey so it definitely looks like more rain is on it's way. High of 20C.

 

It is slightly overcast, breezy and 20c, feels nice and fresh. I say slightly overcast because the sun keeps trying to push the clouds aside to create a sunny day. It was lovely at the river yesterday, completely blue skies, 28c and a refreshing breeze off the river which runs into the Atlantic a few kilometers away.

 

Very windy, few dribs and drabs of rain but not even wetting the ground.

 

The rain over night and this morning has now stopped with occasional sunny spells but again blustery winds keeping the temperature well down, 17c.

 

Light rain showers and a moderate breeze from the south temp 19c, no watering today.

 

Too breezy... I'm trying to spray garden chairs racing green without spraying the garage wall and the floor...

 

A bit of proper rain at moment. Not keen on this wind.

 

Sunshine with steady heavy rain

 

Vicious scary gusts this afternoon. Blown over my 2 outdoor Sungold toms and soft stemmed flora and fauna generally...
I'll leave them decked until this wind abates.
Anyone else having mishaps?

 

The blueberries that are in pots are nearly getting blown over, what makes it worse is that they're covered with fleece to stop the black birds eating the fruit.

 

Another promised thunderstorm that didn't materialise today. Windless and mostly cloudy with a couple of showers of light rain. 22C/72F dropping to 18C/64F mid afternoon.

After the very strong winds of yesterday today is a lot calmer in comparison. Sunny with still a fair breeze but thankfully not enough to cause more mayhem.
High of 19C.
