The wind has got up again and blowing the pots around, had to weight one down with 2 house bricks and they weren't covered with the fleece.

Raising my old head above the parapet for a moment. Been storming for days now out here. Gales and horizontal slashing icy rain straight off the wide Atlantic. I have even had to light a fire today. In JUNE. Heavy rain will continue all day and all night. I cannot stand up outside. Shivers.

Same here, the gale force winds are bending everything over but at least there is some sun.

It is 28c going to 30c but it feels warmer but not much breeze. Made an Asparagus Soup for dinner and T'other Half is making bread ... may have the soup cold!

Would be half decent if the gale force wind was to stop.
                  Sunny periods.

Just read the met.ie forecast and wish I hadn't. We are on the edge of an orange warning for rain and have a gale warning too. Up to 100 kph. All night they say too. Flash flooding etc etc etc.. Have I slept the year away as this is at least autumn weather ? This will be 48 hours of non stop heavy rain. We are safe here as they built above sea level. With the ocean just a field away. I have to go outside once more for coal so I can build the fire up before my very early bed. Really ramping up now but snug and safe if weary for lack of sleep.

Calm with steady rain overnight and today until mid afternoon. The sun managed to show itself for an hour or so but the clouds are back and it's breezy. 14C/57F

Still a gale and still some heavy showers....They admit to 13 degrees. No easement today for coastal areas either. Due to ease tonight they say but they said that yesterday. Sleep has been elusive. My home is a degree above a caravan and no soundproofing as well as a mere field from the ocean. North West Ireland offshore

Cold and very blustery. I've done my gardening for the day and I'll leave any more for when it's nicer weather.
