WHATS YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2020

Started off with lots of lovely sunshine but now it's very overcast. Still have a stiff breeze blowing in but maybe not quite as bad as yesterday's. High of 19C.

 

Not sure where to put this, but I think it's weather related.
Picked two ripe figs yesterday, can't remember ever getting ripe ones at the end of June before.
Has got to be the exceptional amount of sunshine we have had in the last 3months.

 

Went to 30c yesterday but the lack of a good breeze made it feel hotter. Going to 30c today and yesterday and today until 10pm we are under a high heat warning.

 

Cloudy cool and windy, 15°C rising to 16°C, rest of the week is similar but with showers Tues, Wedns, Fri and Sat temperature supposed to hit 18°C on Thus and Sun.

 

WET. COLD. I am seriously thinking of estivating.

The gale finally blew itself out but the rain has set in now. All the day long they say and much of the week. Miserable.

Intermittent rain today with a high of 17C. Dry at the moment.. Might make a dash for it into town before it starts as I planned to hike in and out to meet up with friends for a long awaited coffee,cake and catch up! Can't wait!

 

Gentle fine rain forcast for the whole day. As least the wind is not so strong.
Had the fire on yesterday evening...felt more like March.

The rain has stopped and the sky is brightening. We need days of sun. Lovely outside now. Rain washed fresh

 

No longer fretting about our weather; just seen on the news that where I used to live in the Leitrim mountains the heavy rain has caused a bog slide. Tons of mud , water, turf hurtling down the mountain .. like a cross between a flood and an avalanche and very destructive.

 

Rain has stopped but still cool (for the end of June) with a light breeze, 16c.

 

Still drizzling..fire on again...
