@pete anything that will cool and water would be lovely. The lawns are starting to look well toasted.

 

I've been dodging showers of rain to get various small jobs sorted in the garden. A grey and windless day. 15C/59F

It doesn't know what to do now, sometimes it's drizzle and sometimes rain, it's just like a autumn day.

 

13c rained all night

 

Had a bit of rain during the night, but dry now and cloudy ,although the sun is trying very hard to put in an appearance. Should remain dry for most part of the day, I think our turn for a downpour is late afternoon. High of 19C.

 

Wall to wall grey and gentle light rain in a gentle breeze. No need for watering anything today.

 

Currently 22c and breezy going to 28c and staying breezy. Went to 32c yesterday and was very gusty through the night. Good job there is no gardening to do as it is too oppressive and tiring, hence having an evergreen garden in such climates.. T'other Half just has to do the watering.

 

11mm of rain in the night and early this morning, dryer now but overcast.

 

Sunny and it is now 94.7f . I'm not sure if we'll break 100 today but we seem to be tracking for it as it is still morning here. We've had no rain for many days now. Today's baking will be done in the oven in the cellar!

 

Still grey and still dry but rain is in the air. Quite warm working out in the garden this afternoon.

 

Up to 28c with a fantastic gusty breeze so enjoyed sitting in the Jungle Room for two hours.
