I'd love to visit Corfe Castle @strongylodon.

This is the second time today Corfe has come up. I was relating the escapades of Porlock Hill not far away from there, to a friend. My late dad's first car back in the 60's had three forward gears so it meant double de-clutching. Absolutely useless on Porlock Hill so the car was emptied of passengers, turned around and reversed up, that being the lowest gear of course.

 

Corfe is 'only' 100 miles from Porlock!

 

Is it really that far? Oops!

 

Its a long way in reverse.

All blue skies and sunshine today with a high of 19C.

 

I was geared up ready to strim the front boundaries and mow the lawns this morning....then the heavens opened. Heavy showers with a light breeze. The only bonus being, I don't have to water the patches of newly sown grass seed. 13C/55F

 

Started out like your typical April day, windy with dark clouds racing across the sky.

Its settled down a bit now, the clouds are higher, some sunny spells but not very warm.
