The overnight rain was welcome and walking down to feed the fish I got wet legs from the lavender overhanging the path The garden looks and smells clean and fresh.

Wall to wall sunshine today with a high of 23C and a low of 9C tonight.

 

A bit of cloud and very sunny with light wind from the north north west temp 13c.

 

It's hot, it's going to be hot today and it will be hot in the night. Did I mention it was hot?

... and there's this ruddy great cloud off to the West mercilessly teasing us as there is no rain in the forecast for months!

 

It's gone cloudy now and cooler now that the sun has gone.

 

Having our dinner sitting out in the garden in glorious sunshine. Currently at 22C.

 

We have some clouds passing over and a hot breeze. The temp is 33c. That teasing rain cloud to the West has touched the West Coast but sadly won't get inland.

 

It touched 25 this afternoon, higher than forecast.
Still sunny now.
