Yeah they like a bit of boggy ground to root around in.
35c here as well, quite a breeze blowing at times but I think it's bringing up the heat.
It's deserted round here I think I'm the only one still moving around.
Might be a good time to thin out the growth in the pond, hate doing that when it's cold.

You're getting as bad as me, I just use 5 thermometers all in the same place and take an average.

Thank you for taking charge of the heat for a while folks. We are a relatively pleasant 28c but supposed to go back to 33ish tomorrow.

Love the photo Pete ... and some of us move abroad for over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and not always uncomfortably hot. We like to balance things here.

 

Oh @pete ... I would opt for a posher table!

 

And there was me thinking I was posh with the bubbly, some people are just so hard to please.

 

........ any nibbles to go with the drinks @pete ....or do we bring our own.
