It's cooled down a bit outside with a nice breeze from the north east temp 23c
9.04pm it looks darker than that when i look out.

 

Sunny all day and a light breeze with the occasional cloud passing over. 22C/72F

 

Poor nights sleep last night. This is always the same if I have an appointment the nextday. Checking the time, each hour. Ceiling fan and circular fan whirring away all night, and me feeling like bit of pan-fried fish.

Got to the hospital for the eye clinic. Five of us in the waiting area. I was last. No consultants. Just nursing staff, no problems. I'd asked to leave out the 'field vision' test. At tyhe best of times it is reall painful for me. I have Cervical spondylosis and scoliosis of the T spine. The intense heat was causing much pain and I felt as sick as a dog.

An elderly lady with very limited mobility was befor me. Boy. Those nurses are wonderful. I could hear the nurse saying. Annie luv, try and keep still and let me gently steady your head.

When it was my turn I discovered that during the past year, new macines have been introduced. One being a device that tracks eye movement. Used to be. Keep your head staight. Now look at my left ear etc. The last machine was huge. Nikon. THe nurse gently held and guided my head to the required position. Several electronic scans took place whilst the macine photographed the back of my eyes. ( I must have one of those in my study. It'll look good next to my microscopes). So now the terrified wait for a consultant to view the results. As usual. I will dread that letter. Never mind eigh.

Now at this moment. 22.28 hrs. My study is once again like an over. Perhaps I should request a gentle turning over and a light basting.. SHINEY. I said a light basting......Not batting. OOOOOh! some folk. wink.

Another great day ahead ,slight breeze this morning making it feel quite pleasant ....for the moment!! High of 33C .

 

Cool this morning but nice, trouble is with thunderstorms they're so unpredictable, we're supposed to have them on Monday and Tuesday.

 

16c cloudy with nice brezze, we to may get thunderstorms, and the local rag say it may be danger to life

 

We have thunderstorms predicted for Mon, Wed and Thurs with temps. staying in the mid 30s...should be fun!!!:exhausted:

 

Another day in paradise ... with 80% humidity! I shall finish up some hanging baskets started yesterday then retire to the cool house.

 

Definitely a bit cooler this morning with a slight breeze.

Sunny start with a NE breeze but now it has clouded over increasing the humidity 24c, not sure whether it will reach 30c as forecast.
