Guess the high was only about 26c, 23c now with a lovely breeze. Been a glorious day, sat out for 2-1/2 hours (Jungle Room and front of house) and repotted a couple of things. Hopefully it will be a fresh 17c tonight ... it was quite still last night. I love it here. :yahoo:

Had rain here around 3pm, quite steady, stopped after half an hour with bright sunshine.....so that's it for the rest of the month........Shame as the Desert-garden could do with a lot more.

It felt very autumnal this morning so that's summer done up here - one and half weeks of it.

Mizzle this morning followed by a grey sky for the rest of the day. 17C/63F

A mostly cloudy day with a light shower here and there producing, so far, 2.7mm of rain. The top temperature was 64.7f with the air feeling much fresher and less humid. Right now the pressure reading is 1001.8hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Well yesterday and today were great for me. Yesterday I had vowed to get out and water the GH and garden. The idea lingured for a while....OK. For some time. Then suddenly it began to rain. Saved by the grace of heaven. Then today, I had a bit of a lie in. Then leaving the chores to fend for themselves............well the queen wasn't paying me a visit.

I did my Dr Livingstone bit, cutting my way through the rampant growth of Vigina creeper. Its wandered everywher, my Thuja plicata is covered with it. Eventually I was inside the GH.

Well not as bad as I had imagined. But time to begin an early clear out. All in all, it is if Autumn has come early. I had only grown six L.Cassa Blanca this year. Only a couple of blooms but. No lily beetles but lots of new bulbils. Good results from my cyclamen. Gadioli had gone over so I cut them back. Then it started raining. Forgive me for ramberling on, but I have been a bit down, what with this covid thing and listening late at night to music that, brought bak many happy memories.

Then the phone rang. Twas, Amanda. She was checking asto what I needed on the online shop. She was so pleased that I was in the garden. I truly have to admit. That hour or so in the garden and GH, was like some super duper miracle pill. Listening to the rain on the GH roof and the twittering of the birds.

                                Apologies for going on.

                                Thanks for listening.
