16c cloudy with sunshine and a good breeze, the yellow leaves came off the other day now the green leaves are coming off

 

Well yesterday turned out pretty good during the afternoon.
It's windy this morning, but if it gets no worse it won't be too bad.
Lot of fast moving clouds around.

 

Roaring storm..windows left open as usual so we now have a housefull of leaves, twigs and acorns.!! The sun is out which lifts the spirits a tad.

High of 22C today.

A greenhouse day today I think.

 

Light rain showers at times, the rest is sunny intervals with a fresh breeze from the south temp 19c

 

Think I spoke too soon, it's getting very gusty now.

 

I did think you were being a tad optimistic @pete

 

Currently 22c going to 27c. It is overcast and humid (85%) and uncomfortable with no breeze.

 

The strong winds have blown out some of the panes of glass from our greenhouse, thankfully I wasn't inside it when it happened!!

71 mph across the waters , around the Needles ( IOW)

 

Sun is out now with a slight breeze and 26c. Forecast for 30-31c over the weekend.

 

A gale blowing all day and maybe into the night as well gusting to 60mph, glad I am 10 miles from the coast where it has reached 70mph. Definitely an indoor day.

 

Pulled up some more Cosmos that were damaged beyond saving.

 

The alstromerias have been bent over, I'm leaving the sweet pea wigwam resting on the rose bush where it is. Not worth trying to keep it upright. Sunny spells now as the sky is clearing. The S Westerly wind is very warm ...spooky,

 

Ghastly weather.
Terribly strong winds, a gardeners nightmare ,it wrecks decent plants ,it dries everything out ,blows stuff over as you can see at garden centres ......it wrecks the place ,they hate it as much as I do.
Ok if you enjoy kite flying.......

Seems I was not the only optimistic one.
