@Upsydaisy sorry about your greenhouse, it's a good job that you wasn't in it.

It was gusty winds and showers this afternoon, hubby gets nervous walking by big trees when it was gusty winds but now have stopped and light cloud.

 

Thanks @Logan. All is fixed now and thankfully the winds have died down.

I have to admit that although I love to hear the wind in the trees I do get a tad concerned when the winds are extremely gusty as we are surrounded by lots of trees ,including several huge Oaks. When we first moved here our garden was home to the tallest tree in the whole area but during the famous storm of '87' it got badly damaged and as it had ( like all the trees in our area) a TPO on it we had to get it assessed before permission was granted to have it felled.

Looking like a promising day ahead, the sun is out and although they are calling it a 'fresh breeze ' compared to yesterday its mere little puff of moving air every now and then at only 13 mph!!! High of 21C.

What!!!!!..... It's now suddenly pouring down.....that wasn't on our forecast!!!

Optimism is playing tricks on us again today!!

 

Just re-checked out forecast status....at this moment in time we are suppose to be enjoying FULL sunshine!!!!

Dark clouds some sun and a BREEZE.
I don't believe it, they are forecasting another blow on Tuesday.
I'm being pessimistic from now on.

Currently 18c with a lovely fresh breeze. These days we have to close one side of the shutters as the sun is at eye level and we prop up in bed, have tea/coffee, watch the news and do our 'computer things'. Going to 31c today and tomorrow but dropping down a couple of degrees for the rest of the month.
