Miserable as Storm Francis is paying a visit. Currently about 17°C, three quarters an inch of rain so far and very windy. Rain eases later and wind strengthens; peaking lunchtime and then slowly running down into tomorrow.

 

Getting wet and battered by the wind 18 degrees - the rain is welcome but we could do without the wind

Wet and windy. Once again the noise of the wind through the big Oak trees is tremendous.!! And a tad scary as one big branch looks as if it's now hanging a lot lower than normal. We noticed this yesterday and of course at this time of year they're laden with foliage and fruit ( in this case ..acorns) Still warm and a perfect temp for doing things. I dislike it when it gets too hot to carry on with daily life...not good at sitting around!!

6am it was peeing it down, road flooded etc, now sunshine and showers brezzey
