WHATS YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2020

Spent the afternoon over at my parents house and at one point the patio became flooded, thankfully it had all drained away by the time I left at 5:30 .

 

A bit lower up here @Jenny namaste, we're expecting 4 or 5 degrees overnight in the coming days. Bad for August even here. We'll be flipping our frost free switch to heat the loft in the next couple of days too. In fact we haven't completed a month this year without the central heating being on at some point.

It is a lovely 24c with a fresh breeze going to 29c. Forecast to go down tonight to 16c feeling 14c ... ideal night temp.

 

A very cool, cloudy start with a northerly breeze, 14c.

 

Just had a very heavy rain shower and a gentle breeze from the north north west temp 7c.

Dull as ditch watter here,persistantly pouring,blowing a gale,garden looks ransacked and to top it all I've got Box Blight..Otherwise everything is tickety Boo..

 

I think she missed the 1 in front of the 7.

 

Only light showers forecast, but it suddenly tipped down, flooding gardens under an inch or two of water, and at the front the road was awash as the gullies surcharged. Luckily I was in my polytunnel at the time and got on with things in there, but when my glass of cider ran dry I was forced to run back indoors.

I thought August used to be peak UK holiday season, but now it's storms and flooding.
