Yes have to admit we've had our bedroom window closed for the last couple of nights too ! I feel so shut in when all closed up! Despite the rain they are back open now....a little! :)

Damp grey but not as chilly as yesterday. I bet @JR is glad he finished his Onion bed on Thursday before the crappy weather came in yesterday. I look forward to seeing Mr Ewing's allotment soon.

It is 21c now but feeling cold (to us) with 28km/h wind and 48km/h gusts but it is sunny. The jeans have come out and the shorts put away. We have even put the heat on for a few hours ... it takes a while to heat 60cm thick clay walls if they get cold.

We should go back to 25-27c in the week.
              :fingers crossed:

Try very hard not to put the heating on until the end of October....but needs must. Only have it on for a couple of hours in the afternoon......for now!

It's still raining, been raining since yesterday morning, but light at times with a gentle breeze from the north west temp 9c looks like it's going to rain all through the night and tomorrow.

Only have the heating on when it comes on by itself, got the gas fire on but only in the morning and evening if it gets cold.

I sit in my conservatory most of the time, rarely use the house, so just have heating on in there at the moment.
Probably not the most efficient way of going but I just prefer it.
